The Augustinian Order
The Augustinian Order has been residing in this magnificent square since 1886 and guides all the Augustinian around the world. è the most ancient among all orders of communities & agrave; of believers and refers to Saint Augustine, editor in the fourth century of the rules still valid today for the communityà. It was officially recognized as the basis of the numerous other orders only in the thirteenth century by Pope Innocent IV, who summarized and confirmed the rules.
